Words of Hope Art Project
What: From February 15th to April 1st, 2012 hundreds of Canadians submitted inspiring words to families affected by childhood cancer through Childhood Cancer Canada`s (CCC) National Awareness Campaign. Michael Martchenko, the celebrity illustrator behind The Paper Bag Princess, Thomas' Snowsuit and dozens other children's books by the legendary author Robert Munsch, has created a special public work of art that pays tribute to the thousands of Canadian families living with childhood cancer.

Featuring many of Martchenko's most recognizable characters, the giant child-friendly artwork will be exhibited to Torontonians to raise awareness of the issues facing families living with childhood cancer, in partnership with the Toronto-based charity Childhood Cancer Canada.
When: The Words of Hope artwork will be exhibited from May 26 - June 3, 2012.
